Organizations must confirm that all of their full-status members are eligible to use the Trade-mark. The eligibility of associate members is not considered.

The exceptional quality of Canadian education is an integral part of the Brand identity. Federal and provincial governments have agreed to restrict the use of the Brand to institutions that provide assurance of quality and organizations that represent them.

The eligibility criteria were established at a national level by the Federal-Provincial Consultative Committee on Education-Related International Activities (FPCCERIA) as stipulated in the Brand Use Eligibility Policy.
